Strategic Projects Lead

Responsibilities

You will join forces with Remm as a founding member of the operations team, and work closely with other engineers on the team. At Frist, you might work on the following:

• Work with domain experts to build benchmarks spanning an entire use case, e.g., hundreds of tasks inside life sciences, law, finance, etc..
• Scale up our human data team that annotates data: hiring, training, guidelines and quality checks.
• Scale up our human data team that QAs the applications inside our environments, so every app we ship works like the real website.
• Own data delivery: make sure every dataset and environment reaches customers on time and to spec.
• Manage partnerships with other data vendors, from scoping and pricing to day-to-day delivery.
• Organize dinners and events, and represent Frist at conferences to share our research and identify new business opportunities.
• Do product and project management work, with high ownership over pieces of our RL environment pipeline and over their output and quality.
• Instrument everything: expert hours, throughput, quality, cost, and where projects get stuck and why.

We’re looking for

• Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
• Ability to learn quickly and move fast across many projects at once
• High ownership: you see work through to the finish and hold a high bar for quality
• Curiosity about AI, benchmarks, human data, and how frontier models are trained
• A technical background is welcome, not required

Nice to have

• You've built or managed an annotation, QA or operations team, including contractors at scale.
• You've worked with domain experts (doctors, lawyers, scientists, finance professionals) on research, consulting, or evaluation projects.
• You've managed vendor or partner relationships end to end.
• Experience in consulting, investment banking, or a strategy and operations role at a startup.
• You've worked at an RL-environment or AI data company, or founded your own company.
